industry and FAA standards.
FABRICS
Pure - Wool
The advantages of the natural fiber wool are particularly suited for use in the aircraft. Pure
new wool-or rich wool blends - offers comfort, a long-lasting attractive appearance and
safety. The natural fiber is both water-repellent and absorbs moisture.
Wool is naturally flame-retardant.
Additional treatment and finishing enhance these qualities, reducing both flame spreads
and heat release. Wool upholstery fabrics from Vandana Carpets meet the strictest safety
requirements regarding flammability and the emission of smoke and toxic gases.
TREVIRA CS. This flame-retardant polyester material maintains its properties after dyeing. Washing and
wear. The reapplication of flame retardant chemicals is not necessary when finishing..
